I, and others, have been contacted by individuals purporting to represent a Chech Republic company called KASA. This company does in fact exist in Europe https://www.kasa.cz/. The relationship begins by these representatives engaging people like me to correct texts and emails supposedly sent between KASA and U.S. online purchasers and business representatives of KASA's auction business (supposedly like ebay, but I could not find any link to a KASA auction activity on their website . We were to be paid for our corrections work (NO ONE was ever paid). A couple of weeks into the correction activity, we are notified that the correction job is being phased out, but each of us can work as "payment representatives" for KASA. The concept here is that the KASA auction business only accepts PayPal and the Check Republic is limited to $350.00 in PayPal receipts per month (this was found out to be false). Because of the PayPal transaction limits, KASA seeks representatives in the U.S. to accept PayPal payments on behalf of KASA. Then the payment representatives are to take monies received and either wire transfer the proceeds to KASA OR send the cash by UPS to other KASA representatives who will purchase Bitcoins for transfer to KASA. Ultimately what could have happened, is that a "KASA sale", paid for through PayPal could be returned requiring the U.S. KASA representative to refund the proceeds. But the monies collected would have been forwarded to the false KASA Bitcoin representative, leaving the U.S. Kase representative personally exposed to make the refund.

Needless to say, once the details of the "KASA representative" position are presented, the whole business proposition becomes very suspect. A blog, regarding KASA.cz, was started on the PayPal site and individuals like me added information further confirming the scam: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/About-Business/KASA-cz/m-p/1206168#M32806. I do not know how many individuals, believing this was a real online business activity, have lost money, but this is an active scam.
