My family was searching for a basenji puppy and came across the website: Karensbasenjipuppies.com. We sent a message via the website inquiring about a male puppy named Leo. The website quickly responded with this message: "Hello, your name, you contacted us about our basenji pup Leo. Was wondering where you are located and how soon do you need him?" We responded back and forth and Naboni Thom provided his email address ([email protected]) and his phone number (727-860-2027). Naboni claimed he breeds basenji puppies at his home located at 909 SE 44th. St. Cape Coral, FL 33904. Naboni stated he would put Leo on the next flight and have him shipped from the airport to our house. We asked to not pay the full amount until we received the puppy and Naboni agreed. We made a payment via Zelle. The following day, we contacted Naboni to inquire where Leo was and he would not respond or answer the phone. A few days later still no response.
