My friend had a post on her instagram about her getting a new car and paying off her bills with investing and thanks to Karen. I asked her what it was and she replied that it was bitcoin mining and to get reach out to @nathan._keren (on instagram). I reached out and Keren told me that she was from New York and if I was interested in earning and investing. I said that my friend had referred me and that I was interested. She told me she had 6 years of experience in mining and would teach me how to invest and ear. She explained to me bitcoin and mining. She then told me I would have to make a minimum investment of $1000 and that I would get back $13,700 or more profit within 3 hours and that I was 100% guaranteed earning a profit and I would not loose any of my investment. I said I would start with the minimum investment. Then she asked if I had cash app and to add the $1000. I let her know I could not do it at that moment but would in the near future. She explained I could add some now and then the rest later on. So I was only able to do $100 and she said that would work in order to create my trade account. So once I completed that I she then showed me how to buy bitcoin on cashapp. Then she had me send to a spot then create my investment account on compactinvestment.com. Once I created the trade account she said to keep checking and make sure that the $100 hit the account once it did I let her know. Then she asked if I had Whatsapp and I said yes. She asked for my number but I did not give it to her I only gave her my QR code for whatsapp. She then started communicating through whatsapp. And later on deleted her IG. A week later I made another deposit to reach the minimum and then it would not let me into my account and she said I needed to create a new account on a different platform which was gainupcoin.com. Once I did that and sent another deposit I waited and it went to my account and it showed I made a profit of $13200 she said that I could then withdraw it to my bank account or to my cashapp. So I took the steps to withdraw it into my Cashapp account. She said I would need to wait for an email from gainup coin. They emailed me and said that my withdraw was approved and that I had a withdrawl fee to pay ($2,850) in order to get my profit of $13,200. I asked Karen and she said that there was a fee but after I paid this fee I wouldn't have anymore fees. I paid the fee then she said to reinitiate the withdraw; then received another email that I would need to upgrade my account by paying another fee of $5,250. I got upset and said I thought there were no more fees. She said there wont be but I have to upgrade my account in order to process the amount requested. After struggling to come up with the amount I decided to pull my 401 in order to pay; I thought I would be able to put that amount and more back towards my 401. After paying the upgrade fee I got a credit of an additional $25000 to my account. So I was up to almost $40000. She then told me to initiate the withdraw again so I did then got an email stating that I would need to pay an exchange and taxes fee of $7,650 for funds to be released. Defeated at this point but she stated that everyone has to pay taxes so I understood and borrowed money from family. Paid my taxes and never got my return. Got an email stating there were glitches and I would needed to pay $10750 I have not made another payment and she said she put some towards my account but I would need to get the rest. I have stopped contact with her and she continues to say that I need to do this and to trust her and she is 100% positive that this will be the last fee and I will get my payment immediately.
