When they call the have all your information you think is legit, we made payment plans, when the patment was suppose to come out the bank sent a text of fraud intent, card was cancel for security, police said to call bbb and check for scam on the company name and was already report. They call me back and when i told them the bank did not let the payment for scam alert they got mad yell at me. And threat me to go to court they hungup really mad.

It all started with the robo calls. Some how my family members started getting the same calls as me an it was for me. The calls started from morning til night. Then I received a call from work an it was a lady saying that I was being served the same day. Then she stated that if i didn't want to be served at work she gave me a number to call so I can make some kind of agreement. I called the number and the person I spoke with gave me a opinion to pay full balance or pay it monthly. The person I was on the phone with gave me an hour to call back with my card number to schedule payments. When I made the schedule payments I asked what about me being severed he stated that since I made scheduled payments they should not be contacting me.

Someone showed up at my husband's job saying they had papers to serve and left a number 8773511905 and a reference number starting with DA

I called to find out what it was about they said the name of the company was Kaplan Law Group and that he owed $774.10 for a HSBC visa credit card and that because the bill has been outstanding and he hasn't accepted the settlement of the debt he was going to get sewed for $3524.21 I asked the guy for more info he had none asked him when the debt was from he first said 2014 which I told him was impossible then he said 2007 2008 or 2009 that he didn't know then he said that on may 12th a settlement letter was mailed to us which I also know wasn't true and told him so he started threatening me with court said it was fine if he dont settle he will be summoned to court and then he'll have to pay the 3500 instead of the 700 amount he was very rude and called his self a mediator said this was my husband's last chance before court to settle I told him we pay our bills and if they can supply us with proof we would gladly pay this toi but he said it wasn't his job to give us proof and there will be plenty at court I ended the call and first thing I see when I look up the number on line is this is a scam so decided to call "Mr. Thompson" back and a very unprofessional person answered this time who transferred me to him I told him that just as I suspected he was a scam artist and that I would be contacting bbb,the da,attorney generals office and whoever else I need to if they ever show up at my husband's job or contact him or us again and he ended the call
