I saw a 2009 Honda Accord on Facebook marketplace with a little over 80,000 miles. The seller said everything worked perfectly and had no issues and had the mentioned miles. I drove over 2 hours to go see this car in salinas. He was willing to take 5800 and I thought that was a good deal for such a car. I checked it out and loved it. I payed him 5800 and left. After I got home I realized the miles on the title were altered. I got concerned and got a carfax. Turns out the car has over 232000 miles! The car did not even belong to him. Days later I noticed a noise getting louder in the car from the engine. Seems the engine is bad. This could be over a $4000 fix! I feel helpless. That was most the money I had. I had been saving for a while. I have seen other posts from him selling other cars and am also worried he will do it again.
