Sale associate came to my house because he services other people in the neighborhood. We discussed the areas of my concern. The sale associate quote me a special of $99.00. He spoke with the home owner and I was to use my card one time only was the agreement. I repeated this several times to the sale guy. The first set of guys came out and was done within 10 minutes. I called and complained to Katlyn and told her that I wanted to cancel the services. She then ask if she could send someone else out to handle the job. The new person came out on Friday and spoke with my granddaughter. I listen to their conversation because I have cameras inside and outside of my house. The young man had no clue what he was suppose to be doing. After I watch him walk around my house and briefly spray one area, it was evidence that I would not be using their services again. Today, I received a text message that they would be doing their quarterly maintenance, so I called and told them the same as above. I then receive and email receipt for them charging my card for $151 dollars for cancellation of their service This is all crazy. I have informed them that I have contacted my credit card and if these charges are not removed immediately I will continue to report their fraud to every social media site as possible.

Joshua’s Pest service came door to door in my neighborhood offering their pest control services. I had a lengthy conversation with the sales rep. He reassured me that their product was safe for animals and children. He also told me he would give me a 200$ discount and that if I didn’t like it, it was no big deal I could call and cancel anytime. Then he laughed and reassured me that none of my neighbors had kicked him to the curb yet. He also gave names of neighbors that didn’t actually live on my street. This should have been my first red flag; I assumed they were from across the street. After my first application of product on 8/9/2022 I was extremely frustrated. The technician had made a huge mess on my driveway and sidewalk with granules covering both. Additionally, they left 2 shoe box size boxes in my back yard (for what I presume was mouse traps). Again, I was frustrated as they did not mention this up front and it was a potential concern with a two year old that he could get into a poison in our own back yard. When reviewing the receipt they sent regarding the products applied I was floored. The ‘pet & child safe’ products they use are chlorphenpyr, Bifenthrin, Niban, tempo dust, permethrin, and bromadiolone. Most of these are extremely toxic to wildlife, pets, and children. Needless to say I was livid; considering the sales rep reassured me that the products were safe. As a company going door to door, to falsely portray your services and products is criminal.

The nail in the coffin was when I called to cancel service. They told me that ‘discount’ I received of 200$ would need to be repaid and that they were sending me the invoice.

This company is fraudulent and will tell you whatever they think you want to hear, to get you to sign up.
