A call came into cellular phone with this response when answered with Hello:

"Hello my name is Josh with customer service, can you hear me"

I immediately hung up the phone call.

Answered cell phone, caller identified himself as this is Josh with customer service can you hear me. I said yes, very hesitantly then immediately hung up as I have heard of this scam.

My car service rep's name is Josh. I answered phone and a male voice said "Hi, it's Josh from Customer Service, Can you hear me OK?" I said "yes" and then he went into a promotional/sales type call. After he said only a couple words, I hung up.

He said, "This is Josh with Customer Service. Can you hear me now?" (I promptly ended the call without saying a single word.)

Received a phone call from a previously recorded person asking if I could hear him ok. I said no, and hung up. No company name was given, just "Josh, from customer service"
