This individual initially contacted me via text message, since I posted my phone number on Craigslist. He said I am Frank, and I want you to email my friend Jose Caleb about your car because he is interested. Jose Caleb said he wanted to purchase my car for his brother as a present and requested information about car. I emailed him from my personal email, provided him my full name and the school I was going to. He then replied and told me he is serious about my offer and wants to purchase it without inspection. This was a major red flag because he did not ask for a VIN number to look at the carfax. He said he was military and would not be allowed to leave base. I have attached our email thread below.
