Person offered a loan wanted to verify my account by sending $1000 into my account a called it a verification amount. Talked really fast over the phone and didn’t help because the person was not American so I could barely understand him anyway. Called a few times to let me know that he would be calling back to the next morning to see if the money was in my account so that I could send it back. Then immediately after I send it back I would receive my loan payment. He kept stressing that I would receive my loan payment after the verification money was returned.
