I found a ad on Facebook for a 2 bedroom home for rent. I texted the number associated with the post and let them know I was interested. I was told the same night that I got approved for the home. The landlord had to move to California for family issues so my fiance and I would be renting out there house. I completed an application with mine and my fiancés information and sent photos of our identification cards. I was asked to send first months rent, security deposit and an application fee and that once my funds were received, the keys would be mailed too my current address. I then found that the real landlord is a female and she already sold the house. My fiance and I told her that a male individual had been texting me and that why were approved. She said it was not true and the house is off market.
