So my family & I were searching for a house to rent & I emailed this guy but we knew was a scam because he wanted us to deposit to his account first before he supposedly sent the key to us & he said he was a deaf man so only text but it is all a lie. Do not message or email him.

I found a rental online that sounded to good to be true and the supposed owner said that he was transferred to Indianapolis and that the keys were with him. He asked me to drive by the house and fill out a rental application with all my information, but I didn't do it.

I asked for him to show me the house and he said he couldn't because he is not in NY. I figured it was a scam because the price for the rent on craigslist was too low ($800.00) for the area, so I did some research and found out that the house is for rent on Zillow.com for $2,500.00.

His phone number is (757) 689-7645.
