Facebook post looked like a legitimate going out of business sale for Joann's and the website was very legitimate looking with a lot of products that look just like the ones that Joann's sells/sold. Because I knew they were closing their stores, it didn't seem out of place to me that they might have a different URL to liquidate their merchandise. It was a fairly sophisticated scam. I've seen online that a lot of people fell for it. I feel stupid and am glad I only lost $30.

The scam was directed at Joann Fabric stores who are closing down. They placed a fake website using all of Joann Fabrics info including their Ohio address and info.
