I purchased a digital product that I then changed my mind about. When the product was purchased, I was sent a confirmation email that stated cancelling the order and receiving a full refund would not be a problem. I requested a cancellation and a refund and the business owner is not cooperating at all.

Then tells me to check the refund policy which is on their website, however the email that was sent to me completely contradicts what is stated in the email sent to me.

Their response was that the confirmation email is “generic”, so basically saying it’s not to be taken seriously or literally.

This is incredibly poor business practice.

I can provide more screenshots of the email conversation if needed.
