Looking for a house to rent in Edmond, OK. Requested info about a house in Edmond for $750 a month. They sent me an application and I sent it back. 2 days later they sent me an email telling me I was chosen. They told me to send a $750 deposit and they would send me the keys to the house along with other contracts and documents because they told me they had to suddenly move to Texas. I asked if they could fax the documents and they said no. They got upset because I wouldn't commit and send them the deposit. I called the local county assessor and they told someone with a totally different name owned the house. Total scam.
