The check is from "Remitter: Beverly K Reed" and written from Key Bank in West Linn Oregon. Routing Nbr 031100209/acct 38774212. The check is in the amount of $1950.00.
The letter instructs us the check is for feedback pay $450.00 and the balance is to be used for the assignment. The letter instructs to deposit the check then purchase 4 gift cards from two different Target in the amount of $375.00 each. Then instructions are to scrape off silver panel on back of each card, take full photos of backside of cards and text photos to 669 244-3022 while in the Target store. The letter instructs to text the word "Location" to 669 244-3022 when we are on the way to the Target store. The letter then instructs to send feedback on the service at the Target store to [email protected].
The letter states to keep the gift cards in a safe place to be used on the next evaluation assignment. The letter states a $100 bonus will be included in the next payment if the first task is completed in 24 hours.
I deposited the check, I called my bank and immediately advised them that the check is no good . BEWARE!

Unfortunately my spouse deposited the check to "see what happens" in an old unused bank account.
