Caller identified himself as being from Medicare. He spoke with a very strong accent. He wanted to make sure I had received my back brace .. (NOTE: I never ordered a back brace, nor do I need one, and if I did I would not go through a phone scammer but go to my doctor!). I said he was not from Medicare and he insisted he was and was just checking about the arrival of the back brace! I told him he was a scammer to which he said he was not asking for any money. I told him I knew how this scam worked and to take me off their call list.
