I found a guy on FB marketplace that was renting a home, was interested so i reached out to him, we went to the home and he showed me the house after he called me and told me i had been approved (did not run a credit check or background check) once he told me i was approved and showed me around he told me that the deposit was 1,000 and i would need to pay him half at a time on cash app....when i tried to send him the money on cash app, CASH APP TOLD ME THAT IT WAS POSSIBLY A SCAM! I told him that it was not letting me send the money so he referred me to Zelle, told me to send 500 to his name Jeremy Maynard, and 500 to a name "Smith Ella," the other 100 dollars was for the application fee. Once I paid him he kept coming up with excuses as to why i cant move in.  This kept happening and I got very suspicious.  It was always something.  I called him to get my money back and  he informed me that a cleaning crew was coming in to clean the home and that it will be ready for move today 02/09/2020.... He was a no show.  This morning I tried calling him to get the keys but he would not answer, all the information has been removed from FB. A short while later i got a text from him that said "got 100 bonus" then he realized he made a mistake and tried to text me with a "good morning", after i asked him what did that mean.
