Called from 346# claiming to be notifying my husband of a civil act against him. Provided the 844# to call for more information. Claimed to be Jenson and Evans and allegedly was collecting debt from an old US Cellular bill that went from $50 and is now, allegedly, $1500. Was told that our bank accounts would be levied if we didn't settle. Read out husband's full SSN and DOB and gave us all of our previous addresses. Stated they pulled experian report, assuming that's where our information was breached and when I asked why 1w year old debt wasn't reported to credit, she stated they pulled it off pending resolution. I asked for address since I couldn't find company online and they gave me a UPS Store address in Irvine, CA. Spoke to friend who had same situation and actually paid $40. His bank blocked it because they actually tried taking more. Same company and MO.
