A person contacted me, using the name Jennifer O'Brien and claimed to be working for "Cerner Enviza." She offered me a chance to "interview" for a job as a data entry specialis and had me go through a few "tasks" which were basically asking simple interview questions like "Tell me about a time where you made a mistake and what did you learn from that mistake?" Once I "passed" the interview, I was sent an offer letter on Cerner Enviza letterhead. It looked official, but in these emails and the offer letter, there were grammatical errors throughout. I was told I would be sent a $100 bonus for taking the time to do my tasks along with my "startup check" for equipment, installation and delivery." Once I received the check (in PDF format via email) I was asked to sign it, deposit it and send screen shots showing I had deposited the funds, but specifically I was told "Cover your personal information on the deposit receipt before sending." I did so, and got an email the next morning stating the funds are available and I need to send "their vendors" that money, minus my $100 bonus via cashapp or US Postal Order. I have already contacted my bank now that I know this was a scam, but the scammers do not know that I am aware of this scam as of yet. I'm glad I reported it.
