I responded to the same Goldendoodle ad on Craigslist, but found it listed for Richmond, VA. She sent me the same information as everyone above, but that she was located in Florida, and even the EXACT SAME WORDING in all her emails. When I asked her more specific information about the dog she sent a very generalized email about how he's the perfect dog, but didn't answer half of my questions. She insisted that I pay before seeing the dog, and then I negotiated to pay $200 once the flight is reserved, and then the remaining $175 when he arrives. She suddenly said she was going to send the dog in an hour, and to be at the airport in three hours, and that his flight had already been reserved. She would not let me see any of the flight tracking information, or any information for that matter, until I sent the $200 to her Zelle, which was a different email and name than she had told me previously. She also said initially that I was to pay the courrier, but now that I was to pay her through Zelle - which, while it is secure for transactions among people you know, is NOT protected by the same dispute means that a check would be. I found out that the ONLY possible flight could be leaving from Orlando to Richmond via Jet Blue, so I asked her "Oh, is it the flight leaving from Daytona to Richmond via Southwest?" She sloppily replied "yes". I have since discovered that the same scammer uses this email for another type of tri-color dog on Craigslist and a Facebook cam-girl/porn scam.

Do you have kids?
Do you have a vet around your location?
What will be your reaction if in case he destroys some thing worth 100$?

puppy have a good and caring home were ever he might be. we are asking
a small re-homing fee of $375 and $425 depending on your location
Which include shipping and delivery if necessary and the transfer of
ownership documents to your names to enable you the new owner of max.

craigs list ad was in Greenville, Atlanta and several other locations. She demanded money before she would send the dog. I even offered to drive to Atlanta and she said that wouldn't work because she was moving on Tuesday to CA.

not mention in the previous mail i sent to you.
-socialized with kids and other house hold pets
-he get angry when you shout at him, so don't do that lol
-He is 4 months old
-he barks when he sees strangers
Max will be coming along side with all details of vaccination
,DE-wormed and microchip. Since we have made up our mind to let go of Max
into to your home can you promise me once more that he will be well
look after and you guys will keep me update with monthly pictures so I

Atlanta Georgia were i will be doing the shipping over to your home

pets flight from here to your location and flight duration from here

I had a similar experience. Did not send money...will not send money, but there were some questionable items within the Craigslist post. I am waiting to hear back from her. "Jennifer" has done her research though as there is a doodle breeder in KY with the same name. Don't be fooled.

I responded to an ad on Craigslist Phoenix on Sunday or Monday, July 26 or 27, for Goldendoodle Puppies. "Jennifer Sparks" emailed me on Tuesday, July 28 with photos/videos of a 4 month old that she loved so much and simply wanted the best home for him. I responded to her many emails and questions with my interest....and she sent me all the details of his vaccinations, hejalth, etc. Late night Tuesday, July 28, she emailed me that she believed I would be the best home fr Max. In that email, she said: "Like I told you before, I am in Colorado where I will be doing the shipping over to your home." I had answered a Phoenix ad and had no idea of Colorado! But, she gave me all the info on how she would pet courier the dog to me at her expense and I would pick him up at the Phoenix airport. Thursday morning July 30, she texted me around 5:00 AM to say she was taking the dog to the pet courier company so I needed to download the Cash Ap and deposit the $375 agreed upon rehoming fee into that account and send it to Richard Parish (her husband) because she was ready to take the dog to the pet courier company.....which I did.....and she texted back that she received it. She said she would let me know what time the courier company would have the dog in Phoenix for me to pick up. Then I received a call from Classic Worldwide Logistics Co. saying they were ready to ship my dog....but needed me to deposit in Cash Ap a refundable $850 to cover the safety of the dog on the trip! FIRST TIME I HAD HEARD THAT! I texted Jennifer and she said to pay it right away. Instead I looked up the cargo company on the web.....but no way to contact. When I tried to call the number that the courier called me on, the electronic message said my call was rejected. I called Phoenix airport and they had never heard of the company......and they wont transport pets this time of year because of excessive heat and they suggested I ask for the carrier name and cargo number of the animal. Jennifer had none and then began reducing the "insurance amount"......and refused to talk to me by phone. I even said we would be happy to leave right away and drive to CO to pick the dog up. She wouldnt agree and said they were moving to LA the next day to start a new job. We have friends in LA and I said we would be glad to meet them there. "No one will come to my house!" she said. It is a totally disgusting scam!
