The scammer contained me via email and made it look like a rodan and fields business email. They used the name Jennie Jacob. They wanted to order product for their daughters wedding. I gave them my phone number and asked them to call me. The scammer said they were deaf and could only email and text. They sent payment in the form of a cashiers check to my work. (I did not want to give them my personal address.) The payment was way to much money. They immediately texted me URGENT I need your help. She told me she was 'So Mad' at her assistant for sending me the entire check that the rest of the money was suppose to go to the wedding planner. When I asked ho the wedding planner was I got the run around. The check showed up and I deposited it and ordered their R+F products. Then I told them I would get a check and send it to them. They insisted on Venmo and sent me an account. Then I googled her email and saw the exact same thing has happened.
