We entered into contract with J E J Remodeling Inc, Jose L. Turcious (Resident Agent) to remodel/extend our kitchen for the agreed amount of $58k. By June 2021, we already made payment of 30k. He always urged us to make payment in advanced before every phase of the project. On August 2021, he demanded payment to buy materials to complete the plumbing and electrical work. He did not show for work then. We contacted him several times but we're given excuses and eventually blocked us. Our house was left in disarray (see picture). We're then forced to hire another contractor to finish the project.
