A young man claiming to be Jeffrey Stanley, Jr. offered to seal our blacktop driveway for $700 right away and come back in the spring to replace a piece of the driveway that had to be removed for plumbing work. (He said that part alone was worth $2000). When done sealing he said he had to use a lot more than he told us and it would be $4000 for the sealing and future paving job.We are so ashamed to say we believed him & gave him a check for the full amt. To make a long story short, he cashed the check but never came back to finish the job. We are unable to find him. We would be willing to settle for $2000 restitution.
