The scammer called our home number and claimed to be a relative who rear ended a pregnant woman’s car and the person rear ended was 7 months pregnant. He had initially asked for the head of the household who is in his late 70s.The so-called relative said that they were injured with a broken nose and minor injuries and was thrown in jail for inattentive driving. He gave a case number. He did not want other family members called and said it was an emergency. Within 10 minutes another call occurred on the same home phone. A man claiming to be a lawyer by the name of Jeffery Glas***** He gave me his number and told me what took place. He said bail was $7000 and that it would be returned in 3-5 business days. Again the initial person who was called was in his 70s but another family member older than 40 took the call and gave their full name.
