Today, 8/29/23, I received an email from [email protected] with a Geek Squad logo.Order ID: ********. Transaction ID: **************. User ID: *********. Serial Number: *********. Payment Method: Auto Debit. Payment Status: Completed. The amount which email said was completed was $253.99 . Helpline Number: 1-818-306-5617. I called the number, but refused to do on my computer the things the person on the phone wanted me to. I told him I would contact the Better Business Bureau, as this is a phony transaction. Fortunately my bank and credit card company have not recorded any such transation at this point. I am fearful of having my computer and accounts invaded because of this email, however. I DID NOT SHARE ANY INFORMATION WITH THE PERSON ON THE PHONE. But I am requesting that the ScamPulse.com pursue this, via the telephone number and email address.
