Jeff Diamond Human Jukebox is listed as a music performer for hire. I found him on Gigsalad.com, similar to other platforms for gig hiring. It appears he is listed for hire on multiple different sites and is potentially still doing this. He communicated with me through their site and I booked it per Jeff's instructions, then he sent me an invoice which I paid in full with a credit card per our agreement. He then stopped all communication immediately and didn't show up for the event. I tried to follow up with Gigsalad and they informed me that I somehow booked off-site so they couldn't refund me. I received an email from a representative with Gigsalad a couple weeks later; they had investigated and found out that Jeff has been doing the same thing to other people who have booked.

Interestingly enough, I wrote a bad review on gigsalad this morning 9/13 and he called me immediately offering a refund through paypal if I wanted to call them. He said he had Covid and almost died. I don't believe that because I know he read my messages on gigsalad- they show when they are opened and he opened my messages at least 2 months prior to my event but didn't respond via chat there ,via email or phone/text.
