Goes by Jeff Fagala and the business is in bulverde texas but the phone area code is Chicago, Illinois. Says he will send a check from his accountant for you to get a money order for and send to the distribution center to get your remote office equipment set up. Claims a money order is needed because of audits. He also says the check will include the first weeks pay in it. Sent an employee contract over to be signed but no tax paperwork. Wouldn’t meet in person or do a video call. Received my name number and address.

As mentioned on 8/17, the same thing happened to me. Contacted by email from posting on LinkedIn for Data Entry. They emailed saying that position was filled and wanted me to be a VA. I figured it was a scam but wanted to see how far they'd take it. Asked if I was interested and then did the whole interview question thing and how they couldn't contact me because they were going on a trip. Never spoke to anyone and yeah numbers and locations didn't add up. Said they were going to send me a check to then distribute money orders to people for my "office setup." Sent me a contract to sign indicated the state of Washington when they're supposed to be in TX. The whole thing happened in a matter of 4 days. I'm mad they even have my email address. All of it didn't make sense. Total scam.
