I received a voicemail message both yesterday and today from a company who was actually trying to contact my husband. The lady was calling from 254-647-9287 and stated since she was not able to contact him by phone they may be actively be pursuing him at his work or residence. She left the contact number, 304-931-7157 to call back. I sent a snapshot to my husband, and he called the number today and spoke with a man who said they are a 3rd party collection company, JD Boyles, representing HSBC bank and told my husband he has a $1700.00 unpaid balance with HSBC. When my husband told him he had never heard of HSBC, much less ever had an account with them, the guy got very snobby and short with my husband, and said they will see him in court. First of all, they called my number, not his. Secondly, we have never received anything in the mail from either company.
