Jose Infante did the concrete in my backyard about two weeks before this incident happened. We knew him from a friend. He did good job and we paid him $2000. Before that job was done, he promised to come back to do the roof over my new concrete. On September 14 2017, he called my cell phone and left a message about offering to do the roof. I called him back and we agreed that I would give him $350 for materials first, then he would finish the job on the next day. Since I knew him already, I trusted him and gave him the money when he came to my house. He promised to come back in the afternoon to drop off the materials. He did not come back and never returned my phone calls. He ran away with my money. I checked his record and saw one review on his facebook that he ran away with $5000 before. We need to stop him from doing these wrong things. Many innocent people will get scammed by him. Until now I still could not believe that I got scammed. I was not that stupid!
