I was led to believe I was purchasing two Shih Tau puppies from jason[censored]zupuppiesforsale.com located in Humble, TX. I paid via PayPal "Friends and Family" as instructed by the individual identifying himself as JasonRobert. My intial payment of $500.00 went through quickly. "Jason" ask me to take a screen shot of where I had paid and to email it to him. Which I did. A short time later "Jason" called and asked that I send him the remaining $800,00 using PayPal "Friends and Family." I sent the $800.00 to PayPal "Friends and Family" like before, but it did not go through. "Jason" called and gave me a different email address where I was to make my payment of $800.00. Once again he ask that I do a screen shot and email it to him, which I did. Then he said he was taking the puppies down to the shipping company to ship the puppies to us. A short time later I got a call and email from the "Shipping Company" saying that I will have to take out pet insurance which cost $950.00 because they were being shipped by air. I was assured that the premium would be refunded upon receipt of the puppies at our doorstep. "Jason" kept telling me that they puppies would be sent by air freight to our location as soon as I paid the pet insurance. I asked him why he would fly the puppies only 90 miles to our city. I declined the insurance because by this time I had figured out that I was being scammed. I was then threatened that by "Jason" that the shipping company was turning the puppies over to animal control and that because I allowed them to be turned over to animal control that I would be charged with pet abandonment.
