James Colon, or online business/persona Zvar Shox, offered to make me a fursuit, or animal costume, for 850 dollars. This order came in 2 parts, the head, being 550 dollars, and the paws/tail, which was 300 dollars. I made the first payment on PayPal of 300 dollars on June 1st, 2022 at 3:20 PM, and the second payment on June 15th, 4:19 PM. All of this was through Friends and Family, because in his words "It doesn't tax it". He told me that it all would be completed by June 30, 2022. He did not complete it, where he then told me it would be here by August 21, 2022. He did not complete it, where he then told me it would be done by December 21st, 2022. He did not complete it, where he told me it would be done by January 31st, 2023. He did not complete it. I asked for a refund on the stuff that he had not started, being the paws and tail, and he eventually agreed, sending the refund back in 2 $150 parts on February 28 and March 3. Finally, I told him my absolute cutoff was April 21st 2023, since that is a time he set for himself. He did not complete it. Since October, for the few progress updates I've seen, it has barely changed in the slightest, meanwhile he is posting online about hanging out with friends, going to conventions, and various other things, meanwhile he had told me he had too little time to work on it due to having a job and family issues that were more important. I told him that I either wanted to get the fursuit by April 21st, or get a refund by April 22, and he refused to refund me. All this time, whenever I ask him to change a specific feature, he ignores me and goes ahead and does it his way. The end product doesn't look at all like what I ordered and what he promised from the start. On top of that, he decides to insult me, calling me "insufferable" among other things for not giving him more time then he promised. Finally, he lied about shipping it. He said that he would first thing the 22nd, and he gave me a UPS tracking number that says it only the label has been made, all while posting publicly that he is out and about doing other things.
