Followed up on newspaper article by calling 208 684 0746. Received text, which said the ad was posted on behalf of an uncle. The sender gave me an email address for the uncle. Sent e mail. Received canned response which did not directly answer my questions. See attachment.

Basically what you have here is the beginning of a scam. No one in their right mind would sell this car for $3,000 delivered anywhere in the U.S. No one would offer a car for sale from North Carolina by buying an ad in an Idaho newspaper. Not sure how the rest of the scam works, but you probably have seen similar chicanery.
