This is a shell game. The seller claims to be a breeder looking for good homes and will ship animal for free. We were asked to front 1/2 of the cost via Zelle and wait till we received conformation of shipment and tracking number. At that time we would pay balance via Zelle. I received a call from the owner stating there had been issues and crate changes causing additional expenses. He stated he took care of it. Just as the animal was to be shipped, we received a call stating due to COVID their is a insurance expense but it's fully refundable. He wanted me to pay it. I said no, I would not pay him, but I would call the transport company. I could not get them to answer the phone, but they did call me. They confirmed the confirmation and the fee for insurance. We I asked for payment info, they sent me a Zelle request to a private gmail address and to an unknown individual. When I halted and stated I was being scammed, he pleaded and insisted it was not. I asked for a refund. I received nothing. I was swindled.
