Nicole M. Fox posted a condo for rent on Facebook Marketplace in the Honolulu area. When I contacted her for more information, she referred me to her "realtor", James Arthur ([email protected]). As we corresponded by email, multiple red flags popped up: refusal to provide more information, claims I could not view the property before making a commitment, a price half the going market rate, contradictions about having already sent me legal forms, refusal to send the lease for review, progressively poorer English grammar & spelling, requests for me to provide all forms of contact, warnings that I would lose out on renting this condo if I didn't hurry, and finally ghosting me when I pointed out these red flags.
