I applied for a data entry position posted on indeed with Jairayn Inc. They contacted me and told me to download Signal messaging service for the interview. Contact name Isabella Ortiz signal number 7542911760. I was hired and sent a check via FedEx in the amount of $6859.54. The check was from a company named Construction Zone of Texas LLC 1420 Springhill Rd. Aubrey TX 76227. I was told the check was to be deposited via ATM and used to purchase equipment for the job, minus a $300 sign-on bonus to keep. The website they gave me has typos, looks outdated and is missing contact information. They sent me the check before completing the hiring process. I never filled out an I9 or W4. They do not have my social security number or birthdate. There is no phone number to contact the company.
