I was sent an email saying that they had saw my resume on Indeed. I then did an interview on Microsoft teams. They sent a check for me to buy the equipment. I used my thanks automated deposit from the app. I had a bad feeling about it so I started doing further research and things did not add up. I called my banks fraud hotline and told them my feelings about the check. I am supposed to speak with the company that's supposedly hired me in the morning, however I'm just going to let them know that I know they are a scam and that I've reported them. I am worried though because they had me take a screenshot of the deposit being received and sent to them.
