Jackson the scammer

This guy gave us a call then just texted us he needed concrete poured for a new driveway. He said he just purchased a house but he is out of town but wanted a new concrete driveway installed before got home. No one has ever requested something like this so it sounded like a scam so I told him send me ID and proof of ownership of the home he sent a ID. He said he would send proof of ownership after I send him the estimate. I took measurements of the home driveway it was a $10,000 estimate. He said sounds good to him what payments I accept? I told him we would need proof of insurance and you can send payment to our lawyer! Did not hear from him.

I just had Jackson text us yesterday with the same MO. Would not give his billing address. The site where he wanted a stucco estimate was not his property in Sarasota, FL. He even said he had to get permission from the ex owner to start work after he received the estimate and sent payment. He wanted to send payment through email (asked for our email which I did not give him). Told him that would be on the estimate (which we are not going to send). I gave him the name of our bank but no personal information. I cannot find any online history of the email address he sent me. And I could not find any online history for a "Jackson Brain". [email protected]. Also, he was eager to pre-pay for the job before we began work. I notified our bank. Just too many red flags. If you Google his phone number this web-site information appears online. 1-737-341-2749.

Contacted me via text in an attempt to perform a gutter job for his windows at his new business. Proceeded to ask for money via a wire transfer and wanted to send me a check to my home address. Upon calling them to see if they were really a texas resident, they answered with the thickest african accent in the world and said their name was jackson. They were unable to provide an address immediately which indicates that they don't know texas or its cities.
