It is now four months later and still nothing has happened with my project. I keep messaging him on when he will finish it and he kept telling me a time but each time the deadline would come and go, and he would keep pushing it back. Now he is telling me that he won’t be able to finish it until late springtime because it is too cold, and the material will crack. Which this would not have been an issue if he would have worked on it when he originally said he was going to.
He told me it would take two weeks tops; well, it is four months later, and it is still not finished. He still will not give me an exact date of when it will be done. I also asked to see a detailed list of expenses that he has accrued doing my deck and he has yet to provide that information as well. I found him on Thumbtack and when I went to write a review on him it said that service is no longer available. So he removed himself from the thumbtack app before I could write a review.
So now I am out $2,600 for a project that was never finished, and I don’t even have the hardware that he claims he bought for the project. All I have is no deck and two supports in the ground after four months of him making excuses of why he could not finish it. I am done trying to work with this guy.
