received email 10/5/20 stating I am being billed $499. replied saying i know nothing about service and please cancel account and do not bill me. no response. i don't see that i was actually billed. i was cleaning out email today and saw this old email. i followed up today by calling one fo the different numbers in the email: 909-406-2003. the number was invalid. five minutes later i get a call from 213-900-6546 asking if i just called them. indian man - poor english, poor reception. kept saying don't worry i'll refund. he said i was charged yesterday. i checked my bank account and told him this was not true. he said it was in process. i told him the email i received was in october. then he started asking about my control panel. i told him i was very suspicious and will be reporting them to you. i think they try to alarm people into contacting them so they can then try to obtain private info in our computers that they can then use for nefarious purposes?
