This is DEF a scam. I've received multiple photos of a puppy. I also reached out to more than one source and got suspicious when they used the same email script. And what a coincidence, at least in my case both puppies were 9 & 12 weeks old "plus one day today" Thats when the red flags went up.
Best way to see something is up is to ask them few questions and see how many answes you actually get. I asked things like is it possible to pick it up myself instead of mailing, of course no answer. Or if I asked where exactly are you located, I got a reply saying "So..you want a male or female?"
..Best of all, I made up a puppy name and asked if its still available and of course he was! But instead received bunch of pics of another cute male puppy but never even inquired about him. So I knew something was up real quick. One "breeder" was from VA state and the other from LA state. They used same script, but one said only "Baby" female is left, and the other said yeah, the TWO I asked about were ready to buy including the fake one I made up. [email protected] Mallan Cooper was one email used. I don't know if they are all bad but its obvious they are scamming people. Taking multiple payments for each dog that they probably don't even have. Its sad but thats where every person needs to be very cautious because if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Its possible they inquired about a puppy themselves thats why they use the same email script, have bunch of pics, some videos...and that "10 week and ONE day today old puppy"...Ask if you can drive up to meet the dog even if you have no intentions of doing it, see if u actually get a legit address etc. Stay safe people!

I was looking to purchase a Dachshund and couldn't find one at the local shelter nor did I know of anyone locally that bred them. I went online and stumbled onto Ivyminidachshunds.com and the site looked very professional. I left an inquiry on a particular puppy "Cap", who even though they still have my money, is still available for purchase. The man, who calls himself "Ivan Cooper" reached out to me via text and email. I answered the questionnaire as to my experience with puppies. I asked if they needed a vet reference and he never answered that...which should have been a red flag....once he "approved" my application, he asked if I was ready to purchase "Cap" and he sent me tons of photos and videos of him. I asked him if PayPal would be an acceptable form of payment. He said yes, but make sure to pick the "sending money to friends" because due to "Covid" PayPal holds onto the money longer. Once I sent the money (and put a comment in about Cap in the notes), I sent him a screen shot. He got back with me stating he would go "register" Cap for travel with the service he uses. The next day he stated that he was unable to get Cap to me until the following day and he would arrive at 8 pm. He would never answer my question if Cap was coming via a private airline commercial.(We have both at the local airport). When the date of the puppy's travel I went back to his website...this time I had the address, and that's when I saw the warning that it was a puppy scam. It also stated that the original scam would be followed up with an email from the carrier service....Which they did.

So sorry this happened to you. I was very nearly scammed out of 700 from them, and by very nearly I mean my finger was literally hovering over the send payment button. I was so ready to get my nonexistent puppy and just plain excited that I ignored all of the red flags. It's funny what happiness and excitement can do to you, it really clouds your judgement and makes you blind! Ivan Cooper messaged me as well, and was very inconsistent with answers. I attempted asking them over text and he stated that the text wouldn't go through, so that I needed to email. Then he sent another text calling me Mrs. Never stated I was a Mrs, nor was it implied. His texts were very different from the lengthy and thought out emails. Not very thorough and coherent english, but I thought it was just text talk. He DID attempt calling me, but I was at work at the time. Very pushy to get me to sign a contract and pay already, he side stepped every one of my questions except for one. I asked how long it would take to get my puppy (as in, at what age did he allow it to leave the litter like most breeders have set up. 8 weeks of age, 10 weeks, etc.) He told me 8 hours depending. And I started feeling uneasy right about then. He also asked me to use the friends and family payment option, and right as I was about to press send. I had a gut feeling, a really bad one. I looked deeper into reviews and nearly had a heart attack at how much money I nearly sent him. My suggestion, go to a breeder on facebook and look at their history of giving away puppies, and make sure they give weekly updates with videos/photos. That's what mine did, now I have my precious Teddy boy
