On 6/29/21 I went to this website "https://usa.immigrationvisaforms.com/travel/tsa-precheck-application" to apply for a Known Traveler Number. I filled out the application. After I completed the application, I had to put in credit card number and the fee was $140. I assumed this was the charge for the Known Traveler Number. The following was debited from my account. Here is a snapshot:

06/29/2021 - 11/81 FOREIGN TRANSACTION FEE – MERCHANDISE $ 1.40

06/29/2021 TSA PRECHECK CAMPINAS BR $ 140.39

I received a confirmation email on 6/29/21 from "[email protected]" saying my TSA application was being processed and they will send me an email. I received an email indicating my appointment at RDU was for 7/28/21 @ 9:00. When I got to the appointment, the agent ask for an $85 fee and I told her I already paid $140. She said that I was scammed because the $85 is only collected in person at the appointment and that I should contact my bank. I did contact my bank but they requested that I first make an attempt to get the refund back from "[email protected]"

Did Google search for Global Entry Renewal and one of the first natural search results was ivc-visaservice.com. We mistakenly thought it was the government site and provided all our personal information to renew our Global Entry status and were charged twice for $260. Contested charge with credit card company and waiting on results. Unfortunately they have our personal data including passport, drivers license, data of birth, email and address.

I paid $260.85 in response to an email from [email protected] for a Global Entry status. The charge that showed on my credit card statement was for "GLOBAL ENTRY Campinas" in Brazilian Real. I already had a pending application for global entry which I had paid $100 for the previous year, but the Global Entry office in my city was closed during the pandemic. When I had my appointment with the Global Entry office, they were unaware of the $260 payment I had made. This operation appears to be soliciting global entry applications from individuals and fraudently charging them, but this operation is unaffiliated with the US government and provides no services.

Looked for Global Entry renewal. The website if the "Institute for Immigration" popped up with features very close to the official CPB website.

They charged a fee of $ 260 via credit card - which I cancelled and flagged to the credit card company within half an hour. Even after two weeks they follow up with additional questions about certain ID documents.

I have applied for the global entry with supposed to be a government service. This company changed me $260 for the service US government charges $100. Now they have all my information including, address, work, passport, drivers license, credit card. etc.

I have been scammed. I realized it was a scam when the transaction showed up in my credit card statement in Brazilian currency, which makes no sense. I then went back to the supposed customer service emails and realized it was a weird URL impersonating the US government. These individuals now have my traveler data details.

I made an order to this center for a renewal on a Pre-TSA. Order #245249. I did not receive the Pre-TSA. I ended up going direct to the TSA and getting one there. I have requested a refund and have not heard a reply.
I believe I've been scammed.

Similar to the compaint posted March 1, 2021 by "Private1614629179, Victim Location 10562", I searched to renew my Global Entry and I was directed to "globalyentry.us.com" which read and looks like the US government site. It was after I provided my details that I realized it is an operation IVC out of Brazil, charging double the fee! And they have my identity details.

I conducted a Google search for "global entry renewal" and the second result was titled "Global Entry Membership - Traveler Programs - us.com" and led to this website: https://globalentry.us.com/, which at first seemed legitimate.

I was prompted to answer the exact same questions that the actual CBP Global Entry Renewal process requires and thus gave up my passport & driver's license information, employment history, current and past addresses, on top of other sensitive information. At checkout, I provided my credit card information to process payment.

Only after processing the payment did I notice that the logo in the corner of the site said "International Bureau of Immigration", which didn't seem right. I then realized this was not a government affiliated website, though it clearly was designed to give that impression (see attached screenshot) and was enabled by Google to appear as a top result on their search engine. It seems the website I entered my info at is affiliated with this website: https://ivc-visaservice.com/ and this company: I.V.C. International Visa Center, LLC. They do not outright claim to be affiliated with the government, but offer to perform government services, which can be performed directly on government websites, at exorbitant rates.

Four attempts were made to charge $265.23 to my credit card, which I immediately cancelled after learning that the site was fraudulent and before any charges could post. The actual charge for renewing a Global Entry membership is $100.

I used them for a renewal on a Pre-TSA and I think I just got scammed. It has been a month and still no renewal.
