A Google search on soil popped up as a error and said to contact the 855*** number. We called and a man named Danny Hawk answered and claimed he needed our laptop turned on so he could find issue and fix. Then I have screen shots of the message he sends on how much it will cost to fix. Told him I wasn't paying for anything and this guy had the nerve to tell me to [censored] off and deleted the messages and everything he was doing all because I told him I wasn't paying and said this is a scam. My daughter's computer is now messed up all because a number comes up and says you have to call to be fixed. And there was no other way to fix it. We even shut down laptop and powering back up and same thing kept coming up. After several attempts this is why we called the number. I have done research and have a location on these people. We have no personal info on laptop. Just Google Chrome for daughter's school projects. I have several screen shots on what this guy has sent.
