Received email from [email protected] about automatic renewal for GEEK SQUAD $239.48 was charged to my account. Should have been my clue, but we have had accounts with GEEK SQUAD and I wasn't sure if my husband had signed us up. The attached invoice had a number to call for Billing Department. I called (HAWAII number on my caller ID), rang once, then disconnected. Then I figured something was fishy, my phone rang, caller asked for ORDER# on invoice, apologized for unwanted charge for service and asked me if I was on my computer. I asked why: for me to go to CHROME so he could connect to view the billing to cancel it. I hung up--but look how far I got with a person @gmail.
