Caller, in a deep India accent, called to inform me that my wife has a criminal investigation about previous taxes owed to the IRS. He wanted to know if I knew about serious fraud charges. I informed him that the IRS would contact me by mail if there was such a problem with prior taxes and told him I did not believe him and that he was just a scammer trying to get money from his scam.
