Received phone call from phone # 303-606-9711, somewhere in California, stating that there are 4 serious legal actions pending on me

that may result in my arrest within 48 hours if not resolved thru this phone #. Look up of this number results show more call of this nature

to other persons on this same day. IRS does not contact persons b y phone when problems are on their tax files!

I received this phone call at 8:42 AM on 8-18-18 via landline. The voice was electronic, and "she" mentioned the local police will be after me if I don't pay by calling the number provided. This is probably the 3rd time in 2 years I've gotten this type of phone call. The voice mentions "thank you" at the end, of all things.

MY MOTHER IS GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM 2 NUMBERS STATING SHE HAS DONE IRS FRAUD -- AND SHE WILL GO TO JAIL IF SHE DOESNT CALL -802-321-5741 AND OR 202-350-9029 FROM A IRS OFFICER CALLED CLIFFORD WARREN ITS OBVIOUS ITS A SCAM AS SHE DID HER TAXES IN MARCH AND IS FINE WITH EVERYTHING I FEEL THEY ARE TRYING TO SCARE THE ELDERLY TO CALL AND MAKE A PAYMENT TO KEEP THEM OUT OF HARMS WAY THEY SAID SHE WILL GO TO JAIL IN 48HRS IF SHE DIDNT CALL AND SOLVE THIS PROBLEM OBVIOUSLY A HOAX AS SHE IS 88YRS OLD THANKS FOR GETTING THIS OUT TO THE PUBLIC TO PROTECT THE ELDERLY

Recorded call from 918-843-0564 stating the IRS was trying to contact me and that they had filed a law suit against me. They asked that I call the same number to talk to an IRS employee. I called just to see if they would answer and a person did identifying themselves as an IRS employee. I hung up at that point because the IRS will contact me by registered mail only. I did not listen to their scam so I do not know how much they wanted.

I also filed a report with the Treasury - TIGTA fraud investigation department.
