Part of the message is truncated do to the automated message being delivered as my answering machine informs the caller to leave a message. The caller's message states that I will be taken "under" custody by local police because there a 4 warrants in my name. Of course, no name is mentioned but the message states to call 434-264-1477. My household number is being called up to twice a day.

Received an automated call threatening arrest due to “tax evasion”. Here’s a copy of the message from visual voicemail:

“Hi over the next 24 hours and _?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_ if you have expired after _?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_?_ be taken under custody by the local cops as there are _?_?_?_ serious allegations _?_?_?_?_?_?_?_ _?_?_?_ name at this moment we would request you to get back to us so that we can discuss about this case look forward to getting any legal action against you the number to reach us is 626-590-7658 I repeat 626-590-7658 thank you…”

Getting voicemails from robotic message saying I had fraudulent actions on my files tax return. When I call back, an Indian call center answers and when I confront him, he hangs up on me. I call back requesting to speak to supervisor because I think what they’re doing is fraud, he laughs and hangs up.

I got a call from a person saying he was a IRS officer of the IRS and my taxes were wrong and I owed $***. He had a badge number and case number. He told me I could settle this right now so I wouldn't have to go to court. Then I had to talk to another person named Matia the Investigation Officer. Asked how much could I pay monthly and I said $***. Told me to go to 4950 Almaden Expressway, San Jose, CA and would let me know when I got there what to do and stay on the phone. The only information I told them was my address and how much in my checking and savings. I was skeptical from the very beginning but then he said if I didn't give information then someone would come to arrest me at my home. Got two phone numbers: 845-450-2969 and 20 3 08460106 which they both left voicemails. I just hung up and called police.

They then provide a number to contact, presumably to provide personal information. When I call the number to let the person know I plan on reporting them to the police they hang up.

First I received a robo-call saying I should call back this number. When i called back a fake IRS employee told me that there was an arrest warrant out for me because of tax fraud. I said that I just received my tax refund last week and that I found it very unlikely that I committed fraud and still got my refund. Also told the guy that I haven't received anything in the mail. He then threatened to call local authorities to arrest me. I just laughed, told him to go ahead and do it and hung up.

I am so frightened, still shaking up, they woke me up out of my sleep saying they were the IRS and i oweed money and if i didnt pay today exactly i would go to jail. They also told me my address, credit card information witch really made me scared. They told me i owed about 2900$ and if i didnt pay 1000$ today i would get locked up. I should have known something was weird when i called back, there was no hold time or even a ringer they just answered right off the back! ''Hello'' DOESNT SOUND LIKE THE IRS ??? I let them know that i was not trying to go to jail and I could possibly pay ***$ today, he told me to take the *** to a near 711 and do not put him on speaker or let anyone know what is going on because its my business and to stay on the phone with him and that if I didnt, the police will meet me at my house or my job.He said if i go to 711 and dont follow through that he will send the police to meet me outside, an they will seize all my belongings. I am still shooking up, im very scared they woke me up out of my sleep to play! I am so scared they cant keep doing this to people... knew it was a scam cause i googled the number afterwards and found numerous other complaints on this number, it has to stop ! this is so frieghtening
