I received a call from a man who said he was calling for the IRS fraud dept. He had an accent and his last name was Brown. I can't remember his first name, possibly David. He asked for my name. I told him if he was calling me he should know my name already. He said he needed my name. I refused, and told him I didn't know who he was. He got quite irritated, repeated his name, and said I had received several notices that I had ignored in the mail. Not true. He asked AGAIN for my name, I said again, he should know my name if he was calling ME! Then he said if I did not state my name, the police would be over immediately to take me to jail. I told him to please, send them, because I would love to talk to them! He said they would be on their way, because I didn't give him my name. I said a few swear words to him and hung up. This week I got another call, my caller ID said Washington, DC. Same guy, again asked for my name. I told him I didn't believe him, and wanted a number so I could contact the IRS myself. He said he didn't have much time to talk to me, what was my name. And, I hung up. I called the BBB to see if they could help, which they did and told me about this website, to help warn others so they didn't let him intimidate them. Oh, and by the way, I am still waiting for the cops.
