I got a call today from a man who said he was working for collections for the IRS. He sounded older and had a raspy voice. He knew my street address. He asked me to verify it, but I wouldn't. He said I would receive a letter in the mail, and hung up.

Robocaller stated that I was getting sued by the Goverment for ignoring notices the past 6 months. I called number back and woman was trying to get hundreds of dollars.

I have received multiple calls from a company claiming to be hired by the IRS. They say I owe 4K from previous tax fillings. If I don’t pay them in two days I will be arrested fined $55000 and spend 2 years in jail. These people are very aggressive and have all kinds of claim numbers and employee id numbers which make them sound legit but all it is is a scam to scare you into paying the lesser amount. Please the IRS does not work like this so do not fall for this

This is the automated message I keep getting.

“to inform you that there is a lawsuit filed against you by the IRS and there is bailable arrest warrant issued under your name so before we move forward with the legal proceedings contact us as soon as possible, our toll-free number 800-941-2065 I repeat 800-941-2065 thank you…”

I never answer the phone it’s just annoying to get more than 1 call in a day.

they have now called me 3 times telling me that if I don't get back to them in 24 hours, I will be arrested by local law enforcement. I have saved all the voice messages that they have left me. How do I get them to stop calling me? Can I file a complaint with someone? Can you trace the phone number? They have also called from another number 518-615-7076. I sent them a text back to this number and told them that I have reported them to the local police. The number above is the new number they called from. What else can I do?

Get various daily calls for months now, to my cell from 929-268-1055 and 716-5138646 Claiming to be debt collectors from IRS and that I have 24hrs to clear my debt or will be contacted by local police...etc I let it go directly to voicemail.

I tracked the 929 number to Broadview Networks Inc in NY. Not sure if it is them or not scamming people. Please look into it. Thank you
