My mother was contacted by this company claiming to be a debt collector stating that she owed $11,000 on a credit card that my mother has never owned. They had her address and SS#...none of which she confirmed. They told her they could make a deal on the outstanding balance. She said she never had that card, it has never shown up on her credit report and she would not give them one cent. They said they would turn it over to the county and she would have to go to court. After researching the number on line I noticed several comments from people along the same line and have informed my mother it is a scam and to report it to the local sheriff.
