They contacted me to say that someone was trying to register a domain name very similar to my website domain name with .net instead of mine which is .com and if I want to avoid customer confusion they would give me first option to tie up .net for 10 years at $50 per year totalling $500 to send within 72 hrs, they asked me to cerify my company name, address, and my personal name
